It's that time of the year again - in just a week, it's Macaron Day! Since 2012, Toronto has joined other cities such as New York and Paris to celebrate the little confections in support a local charity. Macaron Day in Toronto will see 25% of macaron sales at participating shops proceed to The Red Door Family Shelter.
On the day, visit any of the participating shops and mention that you're partaking in the Macaron Day. You'll receive one complimentary macaron (limited quantities) and if you wish to purchase more, which I am more than likely to do, 25% of the sale will go to the Red Door Shelter.
