REVIEW | The Perfect Kitchen - an oldie but a goodie for Chinese food in Mississauga

The Perfect Kitchen has been around in Mississauga for a while now and it always used to be a family favourite but it's been months since we've last gone. Since my last visit, we've heard from family friends and relatives that's not as good as it used to be which is a shame because there aren't a lot of choice in Mississauga. We decided to go and see for ourselves.

LAUNCH | Windsor Arms Hotel Restaurant - Yorkville's newest spot 'The Living Room' provides luxurious comfort

We LOVE going to new places and trying new things so we were both super excited to be invited to the launch of Windsor Arms Hotel's newly renovated restaurant - The Living Room. When we first heard about the chic new space, we were very intrigued because the name certainly doesn't sound like a restaurant.

REVIEW | Magnum Toronto - the wait is over for your very own custom #MyMagnum bar

Summer's come and slowly leaving us and I definitely didn't eat as much ice cream or cold foods as I should have given the surprisingly cool summer Toronto has experienced this year. Thankfully the weather has been decent and hot the last couple of days so we headed over to Magnum to make our own treats.

REVIEW | Sansotei Ramen - become a Japanese ramen lover with Toronto's best Tonkotsu Ramen

Maybe Toronto's ramen craze is not a fad afterwhile. Maybe it`s the fact that it can be a quick meal at lunch or something to warm you up on those chilly evenings that make it so popular but either way, I think ramen is here to stay. Ever since Kinton Ramen (read review here), it's been a while since either of us has had our ramen fix so we decided to go and try Santosei Ramen.

REVIEW | Momofuku Milk Bar - the infamous crack pies are finally in Toronto!

New York City's popular dessert bar has made its way to Toronto to join the rest of the Momofuku family by David Chang.  Momofuku Milk Bar is a bakery-inspired dessert "cafe" started by Christina Tosi alongside David Chang.  This Toronto location is more of a refrigerated glass room on the 2nd floor of the Momofuku complex in the Shangri-La Toronto, but nonetheless has some the original Milk Bar's best offerings.

REVIEW | Green Papaya - awesome lunch specials & patio on yonge st.

If you're around a busy area like Yonge & Eglinton, there's always a lot of restaurants to choose from.  However, when I want Thai/ Vietnamese food, I find myself returning to Green Papaya, a cozy little restaurant located just a few blocks North of Eglinton, for its lunch specials.

REVIEW | Guu Sakabar - Japenese Izakaya experience without going to Japan!

Mondays are always the worst day of the week for me. It’s so hard to wake up in the morning after having relaxed for two days on the weekend. To beat the Monday blues, we decided to head over to Guu Sakabar after work for some catching up.
