REVIEW | Daal Roti - a quaint Indian restaurant tucked away in Mississauga

Brampton is no stranger to Indian Cuisine and with so many choices, it can be difficult to find a good one. When we go out for Indian, we try to stay away from big name restaurants and franchises when there are so many little unique restaurants.  Daal Roti is highly rated and for good reason too!

By no means is Daal Roti a big, well-established restaurant. It's interior is quite modest with a few tables and an area for hot trays when they offer their buffet menu. Simplicity is not necessarily a bad thing as their main focus is on their food.

The service was pretty good and servers were attentive. It was nice that they offered recommendations as many of the items on their menu were lost to us in it's complexity. All the dishes were well flavoured. We had to order quite a few dishes as the portions were small and we were sharing everything together.

Hare Bhare Kebab

Chicken Kebab

Butter Chicken

Paneer Tikka Masala

Naan

Goat Curry

Navratna Korma

We would definitely recommend the butter chicken, chicken kebab with the fresh naan. If you are looking for authentic Indian food, then look no further and head to Daal Roti!

  1. I'd like to try the Beer Battered Fillets served with cold beer.
