OPENING | Scaddabush Italian Eatery & Bar - Italian dining redefined featuring Nonna's Kitchen Table concept

Italian eating in and around the city has always been upscale and classy or small, rustic, feel good dining.  Scaddabush has managed to successfully merge the best of both worlds and created a dining experience that will surely keep you coming back for more!

Scaddabush Italian Eatery & Bar is conveniently located at Yonge and Gerrard along with Duke's Refresher & Bar (read review here) and Reds Midtown Tavern (read review hereand did we mention that it’s connected to an underground path that leads to College subway station so you don’t have to worry about braving the cold cause we all know ain’t nobody got time for that!

When we first arrived, we were invited to mingle amongst each other with drinks and some features from their Cocktail Hour Menu.

Chicken Parmesan Bites - Scaddabush spice, parmesan aioli, Sunday sauce

The Chicken Parmesan Bites are normally served atop of the Papperdelle Chips, with rosemary honey chili parm.

Calamari - Dusted in seasoned flour, salsa verde aïoli

After enjoying in the drinks and happy hour treats, we were lead into the dining room and seated on Scaddabush's signature 'Kitchen Table' for a serious Italian feast!

The core concept to Scaddabush’s dining experience, which differs from other Italian restaurants, is their communal dining table, just like 'Nonna's Kitchen Table.' You don’t necessarily need a large group to be seated at the communal table as the whole idea behind it is to eat and socialize with others. Dishes that can be shared are encouraged, which is a great way to be able to try new foods without filling up too quickly.

  1. Thanks for the review. It'd also be good to mention that this restaurant doesn't take reservations for large parties on Friday and Saturday nights.
