We attended the summer menu launch just last week at the John St. location and boy, was the patio filled! All 30 of Jack Astor's locations have patios for you to enjoy your yummy food and drinks on while getting your tan on. We sat right by the bar and let the feast begin:
Passion Berry Twister ($6.89) - so fruity and cooling on a hot summer day!
Do you recognize Jason (left)? He is on a few Sir Corp posters that you may spot around Toronto! And of course, we can't forget about the Chef that is behind all the special dishes that we got enjoy.
Five Sharable Dips (5 for $17.00) - Fiesta Guacamole, French Onion and Bacon, Sriracha Hummus, Mexican Black Bean & Baba Ghanoush. These are served with tortilla chips, pita chips or crispy Yukon Gold fries.
White & Red Sangrias ($11.93 sm. & $24.86 lg) - Nothing is more perfect than a glass of sangria on a patio... don't you think?
Pad Thai with Shrimp (regular menu item)- rice noodles with bean sprouts, caramelized onions, fried egg, red peppers, green onions & crushed peanuts in a tamarind Pad Thai sauce.
Asiago Chicken Bow-Ties (regular menu item) - grilled chicken breast with Asiago cheese crust with creamy cheese sauce & semi-sun-dried tomatoes.
