REVIEW | Té

Toronto Real Estate is no joke and many other like us find it a struggle to keep up with a social life style and be able to afford the rent at the first of every month. Restaurants are no different and they face the same struggles if not more trying to keep up with the expenses.

It should come as no surprise then that many restaurants come and go and sometimes it can be hard to keep up with what's new. We're especially excited that Te has opened up in the Ossington area and is a place we can go to for food and late night eats.

REVIEW | Patois - Get a little taste of everything on the menu with The Whole Shebang!

I'm down to try any restaurant that allows you to order the entire menu and Patois' Jamaican Chinese fusion menu definitely sealed the deal. It's certainly nice to have a restaurant that's open on a Monday and takes reservation in the Dundas St. West neighbourhood.

REVIEW | Swish by Han - the best fusion menu combining traditional Korean with a modern American twist

I can't believe it's taken this long for me to eat at Swish by Han. I've been to their other location, OddSeoul, which I loved, so I had high expectations for the Han brothers' original restaurant in Toronto.  With the launch of their new 2014 menu, it was the perfect excuse to visit. This posh and hip Korean Fushion Restaurant is located on Wellington, just between Yonge St. and Church St.

REVIEW | Barrio Coreano - Koreatown's new hot spot offering Korean/Mexican creations

There's a new hot eatery in Koreatown! Barrio Coreano, by the creators of Playa Cabana, has situated itself among Korean family restaurants in the area and taking the neighbourhood by storm.  My visit was on a Thursday night as a walk in (as online booking was full) and was lucky enough to get a seat!

REVIEW | 5th Elementt - gourmet & modern Indian fusion on Queen West

Our taste buds were asking for some Indian food, so without hesitation, we headed over to 5th Elementt Restaurant on Queen Street. I've been to 5th Elementt for Summerlicious in 2011 and had such a good experience that any excuse to return was a good one.

REVIEW | Odd Seoul - snack bar with a cool vibe, creative dishes & drinks

Oddseoul has been on my list of snackbars to try since it opened.  As the second restaurant by the Han brothers (Swish by Han), it was getting great reviews and press. I've only heard great things about their first restaurant, so when this late-night-eatery was opened, I was dying to try it.  I finally got my chance to go last Friday after work for some food & drinks.

REVIEW | Banh Mi Boys - great size, great taste & great price Vietnamese sub sandwiches in Toronto

This little shop, famous for its Vietnamese Sub Sandwiches, also called Banh Mi has been making waves in Toronto since it opened its first store in 2011.  Their menu is simple with three different items - Banh Mi, Steamed Baos and Tacos with various ingredients.
