REVIEW | Olive Garden - a classic restaurant on the other side of the border

I've seen countless commercials for Olive Garden but I've never actually been. One of the reasons is the fact that we don't have any in Toronto so when I went to Buffalo for the day it seemed like a perfect choice for lunch! Luckily there was one close to where we were for the day.

REVIEW | Salad King - inexpensive & tasty Thai cuisine in the Heart of Toronto

This popular restaurant located just North of Yonge/Dundas area offers a variety of delicious Thai dishes at a very affordable price.  It's no wonder why Salad King the go-to place for Ryerson University and other college students.  There's usually a line up but the servers are very efficient and you never wait too long.

REVIEW | Ruelo Patisserie - deliciously perfect French macarons in midtown

Just a short walk North of Yonge & Eglinton, this the second location of this popular French Patisserie, Ruelo.  They offer fresh bread (baked daily), sandwiches, French macarons, pastries and cakes that will satisfy any one who stops by this lovely Cafe.

Their Macarons are one of the best I've had in Toronto with very unique flavours such as Green Tea Seseme and Wasabi Grapefruit!  They definitely taste ultra fresh.  I especially loved that they're not too big and not to small - the perfect size.  If you're a Macaron lover, you must visit this place.  Especially with the La Bamboche (yonge/eg location) closed, this will definitely be my new to-go place for a Macaron-fix.

REVIEW | Apricot Tree Cafe - more than just a cafe in Mississauga

Eating out in Mississauga isn't as interesting as eating out in Toronto because there are so many different option downtown. Whenever my friends and I eat out in Mississauga, it's usually the typical chain restaurants like Jack Astor's, Milestones etc..

A great place to change from the usual is a little cafe in the Sherwood Forest Plaza called Apricot Tree Cafe.

REVIEW | Burger's Priest - the best burgers in Toronto, hands down!

We had to get a burger fix ASAP as it's been a while since we've had one (over a week) and we wanted to check out the new location on Yonge & Lawrence.  If you're a burger-lover in Toronto, you would have been to or at least heard of the Burgers Priest.  They are famous for their delicious burgers with freshly made beef patties everyday and insane combinations.

RECIPE | Gingerbread Cookies

Gingerbread cookies are really not considered Spring baking but the Bath and Body Works gingerbread scented hand wash made me crave some.
