Winterlicious is back for 2015! We're still unsure of where we'll be dining (need to make reservations ASAP) but after the menu tasting at King Street Social, a restaurant inside the Hyatt on King Street, we strongly encourage you guys to check them out for this year.

REVIEW | Città

Just 6 weeks ago, Città opened in the up-and-coming neighbourhood of CityPlace between Spadina Ave. and Bathurst St. on Fort York Blvd.  Nestled on the main floor of one of the many highrise buildings, this may just become the community's favourite brunch spot on the weekends or a lunch and dinner spot on weeknights!

REVIEW | What to expect & indulge in at Destingo for Winterlicious 2015

My first visit to Destingo was during Winterlicious last year (read review here) and I can't forget the experience because I fell in love with their tiramisu. This year, this Italian restaurant is offering up a Winterlicious menu once again so if you haven't been, it's a great opportunity to see what Destingo has to offer in a 3-course meal.

REVIEW | Stoney Bread Company

Clara's been to the the original location of Stoney's Bread Company in Oakville many times, urging me to make a visit myself for their yummy menu offerings.  In this particular case, I didn't have to go all the way to Oakville because Stoney's opened a new location just 5 minutes from my place in Etobicoke! I have been a couple times already, both for their Sunday brunch service and I must say that I am quickly loving the new neighbourhood restaurant addition.

REVIEW | The County General

If Torontonians know a thing or two about food, it's definitely the brunch scene. No matter how hard you try to plan in advance where to go, you just gotta show up and hope for the best because most places don't take reservations and no matter where you end up, there always seems to be a line. Luckily we chose to eat brunch at the County General located in the Queen West neighbourhood at 1PM on a Saturday and right in the middle of a snow storm.

REVIEW | Home of the Brave

At last! My long overdue visit to the Home of the Brave finally happened for a late night dinner with my girlfriends.  Situated upstairs at the corner of King Street West and Portland Street, it's quite accessible by public transit but it could be hard to find parking.

WORKSHOP | Delicious Nutrition - Winter Cleanses have never tasted so good!

It's that time of year again! Time to make promises to ourselves to eat healthy and cut out junk food. We've all been there and done that but seriously, with all the good food that Toronto has to offer, how many of us were able to stay on track? I think one of the hardest parts to sticking with a clean diet is that you don't know where to start. We also have the mentality that eating clean is boring. Thankfully with a Winter Cleanse program offered by Delicious Nutrition, eating clean has never tasted so delicious!

REVIEW | Wahlburgers

If you weren't part of the group that waited in the long line when Wahburgers first opened its doors in Toronto, you will be happy to know that you can get the same great burger without freezing in line in subzero Canadian weather.

GIVEAWAY | Win a $60 Gift Card to Henry's Rentals #RentTheGearOwnTheMoment

I enjoy taking photos, especially ones of food (you can tell by our Instagram) so when I do, I try to make it look as appetizing and of quality as possible. Sometime's it's hard to do that with my phone when I'm at events, so I have been in the market for a DSLR (still am). But before I commit myself to making that big purchase, I wanted to play around with one to make sure I choose the right one. That's when I learned of the rental service at Henry's Cameras - yup, you can rent from their large selection of DSLR cameras, lenses, camera accessories & more!
