EVENT | WonderPho - a wonderful fresh take on Vietnamese cuisine!

The first thing that comes to mind when someone suggest going for Vietnamese food, it's usually pho. While the occasional spring roll appetizer is ordered, most people usually don't stray too far from the staples. Wonderpho offers a an interesting take on traditional cuisine while staying true to the favourites that everyone loves.

REVIEW | Green Papaya - awesome lunch specials & patio on yonge st.

If you're around a busy area like Yonge & Eglinton, there's always a lot of restaurants to choose from.  However, when I want Thai/ Vietnamese food, I find myself returning to Green Papaya, a cozy little restaurant located just a few blocks North of Eglinton, for its lunch specials.

Pho House - there's nothing like a good bowl of Vietnamese Pho noodles

Who doesn't love PHO? Pho is definitely one of our favourite dishes that we crave on a cold day.  As many of you know, Pho is a traditional Vietnamese rice noodle dish with broth, beef, bean sprouts and cilantro.  It's really delicious as any meal of the day (breakfast on weekends for hangovers) and most places have them at such affordable prices.

We went to a local favourite  in Etobicoke called 'Pho House' that specializes in Vietnamese AND Thai cuisine. We especially like this location because it's super close to where Monica lives and this plaza (six points plaza) tends to be our meeting spot.
