December is always a crazy month. Gift shopping, boxing day shopping, holiday parties, long work hours before taking some days off, the list goes on. Looking back at the month that always seems to fly by, one holiday party stands out: Elle Cuisine's holiday party at Apt 200.
It could have been the bourbon pairings that I was introduced to and converted me to a bourbon/whiskey drinker; or the amazing 4-course dinner that Elle Cuisine put together unforgettable; or just such a fun atmosphere with great company that made this event unforgettable. It was definitely the combination of all three factors.

What a wonderful dining experience! These bourbon-themed dishes left me in awe as each course outdid the last! Chef Lauren Mozer and her team did a great job planning and executing such a fun holiday event, I must say it's one of the more memorable ones this year.
I had the regular menu with the French Onion Soup and the Pork Belly, which were delicious. The Pork Belly really stood out to me. My guest, Emma had the Vegetarian menu. She was thrilled that the veg. option was just as impressive as the regular menu, as often these menus are overlooked and your'e stuck with a typical salad. I did get a sip of her Butternut Squash Soup and a bite of that Pan-seared Branzino - I wanted to switch half way!
Another highlight of the night was the jalapeno cornbread. Now, those were so addictive, I had to ask to get extra's packaged up for me.
