EVENT | Toronto BBQ Week with Samuel Adams is here!

The weather has been amazing lately and that only means one thing - patios and BBQ! Luckily for us, Samuel Adams is teaming up with 15 restaurants across Toronto to bring us Toronto BBQ Week! What does that mean exactly? 15 BBQ joints across Toronto is offering an amazing deal - $15 for a dish paired with a pint of Samuel Adams Boston Lager

We're pretty stoked about the restaurants that are participating in Toronto BBQ Week and we got to try out a few places so we can give you the 411 on what they're offering!

Our first stop was The Harbord Room.  Chef Cory Vitiello's vision behind The Harbord Room is to focus on using local and seasonal ingredients so it doesn't surprise us that their featured dish would be a Lightly Smoked & Grilled Ocean Trout with Grilled Summer Vegetables, Roasted Cherry tomatoes & Salsa Verde. It was definitely nice to see a different option from the usual pork or beef BBQ.

We wouldn't normally think to pair fish with a beer but the Boston Lager was light enough to complement the flavours of the trout and it was a perfect combination for a hot summer day.

Our next stop was Patois. We've been there before for The Whole Shebang so we were pretty excited to see what they decided to pair the Samuel Adams with. For anyone that hasn't made a visit there, they offer Caribbean and Asian fusion soul food.

The Juicy Jerk Pork Belly Bao & Escovitch Pickles was very flavourful and packed a lot of heat and I was thankful for my beer which really helped to cut down on the spiciness.

Last but not least, we made a stop at Campagnolo where they serve up good home cooked Italian food in the Dundas Street West neighbourhood. They're the only restaurant in Toronto BBQ Week that's offering a Lamb Spiducci with Saltm Pepper Lemon & Olive Oil.

We've heard so many great things about Campagnolo and this dish didn't disappoint. It's a great light appetizer to enjoy with a nice cold beer on the patio.

Don't forget to #BBQWeekTO to show us what you decided to try this week and check out the Samuel Adams website for a chance to win a trip for 2 to Boston!

HAPPY BBQ WEEK!
