Back for the 3rd year in a row, Halal Food Festival is the largest of halal food festival in North America. This year, the event is expecting over 27,000 visitors over two days; on May 30 and May 31st at the Mississauga International Centre. We're giving away 2 pairs of tickets to the food fest; keep reading to find out how!
If you're a fan or never had halal food, it's a great opportunity to emerse yourself at the food fest, where there were will be over dozens of halal food exhibitors, in-house chefs, seminars and workshops throughout the space. Did I mention the Halal Street Fest happening outside the International Centre?
What to look for at the event?
- The Holy Poutine (Spanish fries made with in-house halal chorizo, Spanish olives and other Spanish inspired ingredients from The Holy Grill, a halal food truck launched by Toronto chef Aleem Syed)
- Jerk Fried Chicken & Belgian Waffle S'mores from Chef's Life, sponsored by Sargent Farms
- The halal Lollypop Juicy Lucy from Burger Factory
Tickets are $5 each (children under 16 and seniors are free).
Food Sample tickets are available for purchase at the event – $10 for 20 tickets.
