The next two places we stopped by were Miss Cora's Kitchen and Chocolate Addict in Kensington Market as well.
4th stop: Miss Cora's Kitchen
This quaint little bakery has a big orange sign, so you can't miss it. There was a table outside the bakery with various sweets on it - muffins, bars, cookies, and more. It reminded me of an old fashioned bake sale that we'd have at school - except these treats were FAR better in shape and taste :)
We were given their ever so popular chocolate chip cookies to taste - THEY WERE AMAZING. Chewy, moist and just enough sweetness. It was unlike other chocolate chip cookies I've had before. It reminded me of a thin cake... does that make sense?
Coming to the last stop of the Kensington Sweets Tour was bittersweet. Sad that it's over and sweet because, well - they had truffles! Chocolate Addict was a small shop that had a wide range of truffles displayed as the focus and alone the windows, there were other funky candy & chocolate products.
We got truffles to sample and we chose: champagne, caramel , green tea and wasabi. There were other interesting flavours such as chili and rum butter! These little truffles would make great gifts for someone who has a sweet tooth.
If you're looking for something to do on a weekend, these 2-hour sweets tours are a great way to spend some quality time with your family and friends. It's affordable and you see so many little shops that you wouldn't notice otherwise.
Thanks Toronto Tasty Tour for a great afternoon!
