REVIEW | Wahlburgers

If you weren't part of the group that waited in the long line when Wahburgers first opened its doors in Toronto, you will be happy to know that you can get the same great burger without freezing in line in subzero Canadian weather.

To be honest, when we first walked into Wahlburgers, we were a little confused. Why? We weren't sure whether it was a fast food place as most burger joints in Toronto are or if it was a sit-down. Thankfully that awkward moment standing there ended shortly when we were approached and seated. That's one of the things that makes Wahlburgers stand out from others - you can go in for a quick meal but still get full service.

While this is not our favourite burger spot, we do have to give them some credit for having an impressive menu. Not only do they offer a large variety of burgers, sandwiches and wraps, some of them are pretty unique!

BBQ Bacon Burger
The name says it all. Who doesn't love a good bacon burger with BBQ sauce?

Spinach Salad with Turkey Burger
For those who are health-conscious, order a salad and add a turkey, chicken, beef or haddock burger to get your protein intake!

Thanksgiving Burger Lettuce-Wrapped
See a burger or sandwich that you want but can't justify the extra carbs? Ask for it lettuce wrapped. Just a warning though that this is not the type of burger you can eat with your hands so get ready to dig in with a knife and fork!

Wahlburgers is worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a quick meal or looking to grab a drink with a friend and need some sweet potato tots to wash down the pint or two you're having. Heck, you might even see a Wahlberg brother there if you're lucky! Unfortunately, we haven't lucked-out in that department yet!
