We've always been told not to judge by a book by its cover and we shouldn't judge a restaurant by its name either. G for Gelato - gelato and espresso bar definitely offers more than just that!
G for Gelato offers an impressive selection of paninis, pizza, salads, gelatos, drinks and even breakfast on their menu. What makes your entire experience here even better is the impeccable service you get. Whether you're trying to decide what type of pizza to order or curious to try all their gelato flavours, the staff is always ready to lend a helping hand. As we all know, overall atmosphere of a restaurant is just as important as the food and G for Gelato definitely sets the bar high.

Everyone loves a good slice of pizza every now and then - we sure can't get enough. Whether you opt for a simpler pizza such as cheese or something more complex with hot peppers, meat or pineapple, you'll find it here. We tried a few of G for Gelato's pizzas and all we can say is, we're hooked!
On a side note, order a bottle of Peroni (a classic Italian beer) with your pizza.
Maialina - tomato sauce, mozzarella, spicy italian sausage, spicy soppressata, fresh basil.
If you love meat as much as we do, you'll love this pizza! You'll also get a kick in every bite from the spicy sausage.
Funghi pizza - assorted mushrooms, fontina cheese, topped with arugula, shaved parmesan and truffle oil.
The funghi pizza surprisingly didn't taste as vegetarian as we thought it would. There was enough flavour and we almost forgot that we were eating a pizza with no meat on it. As important as toppings are to a pizza, we can't forget about the crust. We love a thin crust with our pizza and this one definitely hit the spot.

You won't need to travel far for something sweet after your meal, just walk a few steps to the gelato display. Flavours range from classics like chocolate and and pistachio to creative and innovative flavours like tequila or redbull gelato. Even if you feel overwhelmed with the choice of flavours that are available, follow the steps listed below to ensure you find that perfect flavour!
1. Take a deep breath
2. Ask for a sample of any of the gelatos that seem to call out to you
3. Keep sampling until you've found the "one"
4. Feeling a bit greedy today and can't pick just one? Not to worry - get a bowl with 2 or 3 scoops of your favourite gelato!
Don't forget to enjoy a cup of hand crafted hot drink with your dessert to complete your meal at G for Gelato. :)
