REVIEW | The Fry - one of the best spots in North York for Korean Fried Chicken (KFC)

Fried chicken is probably one of Korea's most popular late-night eats and in Korea, they're readily available with delivery and countless numbers of restaurants for it. Unfortunately in Toronto, there's only a handful of restaurants that specialize in this dish.  One of them, which I personally think is the best in the city is called The Fry.  Both of The Fry's locations are on located on Yonge, one on Sheppard and the other, North of Finch.

REVIEW | El Caballito Tequila Bar - after work drinks & late night snack bar #MidnightTaco on King West

I love, love, love tequila & tacos, so when I discovered that there's a new spot in town, I made my way there without hesitation.  The new El Caballito Tequila Bar is located at King and Simcoe, a great location to head to after work!

REVIEW | Kintaro Izakaya - an intimate & cozy yakitori izakaya tucked away on Church Street

Toronto is home to many, many Japanese izakayas, and a lot of them have the loud and lively atmosphere in common - afterall, izakaya is a drinking establishment in Japan.  I do enjoy that atmosphere when going out with friends or having a girls night, but sometimes I prefer a more intimate and cozy environment that allows for conversation over food.  Toronto's Kintaro Izakaya on Church St. that opened in late summer of 2013 was perfect for that.

LAUNCH | Windsor Arms Hotel Restaurant - Yorkville's newest spot 'The Living Room' provides luxurious comfort

We LOVE going to new places and trying new things so we were both super excited to be invited to the launch of Windsor Arms Hotel's newly renovated restaurant - The Living Room. When we first heard about the chic new space, we were very intrigued because the name certainly doesn't sound like a restaurant.

REVIEW | 3 Brewers - Oakville's newest addition!

Oakville recently got a new restaurant called The 3 Brewers  in the Winston Park plaza. It's a great location because the theater is there so it's perfect for date night! They also have a location downtown at Yonge and Dundas.

Bier Markt Queensway - finally, a location in the west end

Went to try out the new Bier Markt that opened on Queensway (Etobicoke).  I've been to the location downtown on the Esplanade and always had a good experience there.  Their delicious food, abundance of beers and the overall lively atmosphere makes it a popular hot spot in Toronto.
