REVIEW | Wah Sing Seafood Restaurant

Wah Sing Seafood Restaurant is one of those restaurants I went to with my family since I was little and always forget to recommend it to others - it's like a friend that you stop appreciating because they're always there for you (maybe not the best way to describe a restaurant). Recently, we had a dinner with our foodie friends there and the love for the place just grew that much more.

Spicy Deep Fried Squid

Wah Sing is located on Baldwin Street, just a block or two from the AGO. They're pretty well-known for their 2-1 lobster special at $35.95 - obviously my Korean parents took me there for that deal :)

The great thing about any Chinese restaurants is that you order as much variety as you can and just share, family-style with everyone. This way, you get to taste everything. The difference between this and tapas is that the portions are BIG.

Check out all the dishes we had, which didn't stop rolling out of the kitchen until we were stuffed!

Jumbo Shrimp in Lobster Sauce

Sizzling Beef in Special Sauce

Lobster Special with Ginger & Green Onion

Soft Shell Crab Fried Rice

Cantonese Style Chow Mein

Looking for a hearty, Chinese dinner? Definitely make a visit to Wah Sing for the double lobster special. Do get accompaniments with it - any type of fried rice, veggies and noodles are a must!

Ugh, writing this just made me crave this all over again!
